Follow these steps to install the fibonacci extension drawing
tool.
- Download the file from the download page and unzip it.
There are two files now:
- fibo_extension.vbs
- Fibonacci Extension
- Copy the 'fibo_extension.vbs' file into the folder named 'CustomDrawingTools'
which is a subfolder of Neoticker application folder.
Copy the 'Fibonacci Extension' file into the folder named 'charttool'
- Start Neoticker and open the script editor using the 'Open
Custom Drawing Tool...' menu item
Select the fibo_extensio file from the dialog box.
- Select the 'Drawing Tool' menu item and choose 'Install As
Custom...'. Where you can choose on which of these four buttons it
should be installed. If you have other custom drawing tools already
installed, you have to install it in one of the other buttons.
Now the installation should be complete and you can use the
Fibonacci Extension tool.
Important: We have encountered a
problem if your regional settings do not use '.' as a decimal
separator. So there will be two different versions available for
download. One of them if your decimal separator is '.' (i.e. your
numbers are displayed as 1064.4) the other one for ',' (if
this number would be displayed as 1064,4).
We do highly recommend installing the tool when markets are closed to
avoid Neoticker crashing due to invalid installation files. You should
also save your the settings of the drawing tool after the first time
then there shouldn't be any more problems.
We are using this tool for several weeks in realtime without any
problems.
